In a small workshop, amid the scent of resin and shavings whirling from the lathe’s blade, it all began with a simple respect for nature. That’s how the Polish brand Drewnem pisane, Marcin and Kamila, was born.
Our philosophy is simple and noble: we do not cut down trees for our own needs. The protagonists of our story are wood scraps from carpenters, branches broken by storms, and pieces of wood that have lost their usefulness to others.
It is in these discarded fragments that we see potential - the hidden grain pattern, knots that add character, and a unique texture. Each such piece finds its way into our hands to dry, be cut, and then precisely turned on a lathe.
However, we do not limit ourselves to classic wood. In our work, we use various materials such as resin with embedded flowers and pinecones, synthetic opal, and ebonite.
Today, Drewnem pisane is synonymous with warmth, minimalism, and unique design. Every pen leaves the workshop as a completely handmade, one-of-a-kind piece—you won’t find two identical ones. It’s not just a writing instrument, but above all, a story encapsulated in the pen about a second chance and a passion for craftsmanship.
