Ebonite fountain pen - faceted
Cumberland Swirl – this pen shape turned out to be phenomenal for our ebonite. We selected a limited ebonite block called Cumberland to show how the twisted facets can beautifully emphasize the striped structure of this material. This time, instead of arcs, the surface reveals distinctive ellipses that give the pattern an even more unusual and dynamic character. The deep black and brick-red tones create a striking contrast, and as the pen moves in the light, successive bands of color emerge, adding depth and liveliness to the design. It is worth paying attention to the perfect fit of both parts of the pen, so that the pattern flows smoothly from the barrel onto the cap, and every time the pen is opened and closed, the design remains perfectly aligned. It is also worth mentioning that ebonite is a very pleasant material to the touch and gives a sense of warmth, so holding the pen will be a true pleasure.
