Synthetic opal fountain pen
Blue opal - Opals are characterized by opalescence, i.e. a color change when the stone moves. The effect that causes iridescence is the refraction, splitting and reflection of light on small silica balls inside the mineraloid. In this case, the presence of "ordered" structures is necessary - parallel planes, the more densely packed, the more intense the play of colors. Our pen is made of synthetic opal with a dark blue color and green iridescence. It is a fantastic material made of crystalline silica embedded in a polymer, just like in real stone. With each movement, the fountain pen shimmers and brings out beautiful blue flashes. All parts are made of navy blue synthetic opal. Only the black feeder and nib are made of a different material. If you love opals, this pen is definitely for you.
