Ebonite fountain pen - faceted
Swirl ebonite Tideland - this pen shape turned out to be phenomenal for our ebonite. We chose a limited ebonite block called Tideland to show how the wrapped facets can highlight the striped structure of this material. The successive layers of blue, grey, green and black ebonite with this grinding show fantastic arcs and contrasting colours. By moving the pen we can observe the change of colour and subsequent colour stripes. It is worth paying attention to the perfect fit of both parts of the pen, so that the pattern from the barrel smoothly passes to the cap and every time we open and close the pen the pattern is preserved. Finally, it is worth mentioning that ebonite is a very pleasant to the touch material and gives a feeling of warmth, so holding the pen will be a joy.
