Blue Tarpon Wave - This fly, crafted from Pourly Controlled’s unique Blue Tarpon block, captivates with its depth, evoking images of tropical waters where the blue of the sky blends with the dark depths of the ocean. The semi-transparent, saturated resin in shades of deep turquoise and navy blue conceals shimmering streaks. These are the colors of the hard, silvery scales of the legendary tarpon fish, glistening just below the water’s surface. The entire piece has been carved into a dynamic, spiral pattern of a milled wave. These strong, decisive grooves cause light to refract at the edges, bringing out the material’s inner glow and three-dimensionality.
