This is the youngest child in the family of our writing products. It can be said that it was caused by hardware problems and downtime. Pavo pens are glued, i.e. many small pieces of wood are made into a block, which is then turned into a fountain pen. We have several such glued pens: stripes, where colorful striped pens are made from various pieces of wood and sometimes resin. The stripes can be arranged perpendicular to the axis of the pen or diagonally. Another type is karacena, where the diagonal arrangement of small pieces of wood creates a pattern of scales - like scale armor (karacena). For such small elements, we use colorful, contrasting dividers that beautifully highlight the color and pattern. The most labor-intensive are Pixels, where a block is created from small elements, which is then cut and glued again. This is a truly painstaking work. Just cutting out the elements, gluing, drying, cutting again, arranging and gluing, and drying may take several days. The last one is dragon skin, where cut out elements made of wood and similar shapes made of resin are glued alternately until a dragon scale pattern is created. Each of these fountain pens requires selecting appropriate materials in terms of color and material, arranging, gluing, using spacers, turning and ensuring that everything is nice and aesthetic. Each one is unique and cannot be exactly the same again.
